• Hand sanitizer will be available at each water station and throughout the finish line area.
  • Volunteers will be frequently cleaning high touch areas.
  • Please stay home if you are symptomatic (cough, shortness of breath, fever, etc).
  • If you test positive for Covid within 10 days of the start of the race, email us your test results and we can offer you a race packet to complete the race virtually when you are recovered or we can defer you to next year free of charge.
  • Volunteers and race staff will wear masks.
  • Temperatures will be checked before entering packet pickup. You will need to wear a mask as well.
  • Face masks will be required until you cross the start line. Upon crossing the finish line you will need to put your mask back on. A mask will be provided if you do not have one.
  • There will be markings on the road, 6 ft apart, about 4-5 people wide, for runners to line up in the starting corral. Once everyone is lined up we will start the race and let waves of runners go through 2 rows at a time in 10 second waves.
  • There will be no official pacers this year. We ask that runners do not run together unless they are from the same household or have already been training/exposed together.
  • Be mindful when passing other runners and keep your distance when doing so.
  • Medals will be handed to the runners upon crossing the finish line but will not be placed around your neck.
  • The water stations will have cups placed on the tables but will not have volunteers handing them directly to the runners. We encourage everyone to bring their own hydration as well to limit interactions.
  • As much as we love to have our normal post race party with y‘all, we are asking everyone this year to stay as briefly as possible at Parc International (long enough to grab some hot food and enjoy your one beer) and then continue moving along so that other runners may enter the Parc.
  • If you won an award and do not want to stay for the award ceremony we will have them available for pickup later in the week at Geaux Run. If you live outside of Lafayette we will mail it to you.
  • We will not have the results board near the finish line chute. Results will be posted online as they are available and you can sign up for the digital race results from Race Joy. To sign up for Race Joy, select when registering or edit your registration online in Run Signup. Cajun Timing will also have a tent near the finish line where they can print your individual result.
